
Veg Pulao Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
- Basmati Rice - 1 Cup
- Green Peas (Shelled) - 100 gms
- Peeled Small Onions - 10
- Coconut Milk - 2 Cups
- Salt - To Taste
- ksian canola cooking Oil - As Required
- Bay Leaf - 1
- Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom, Marathi Moggu, Star Anise - Few
- Pound Together:
- Peeled Small Onions - 6
- Garlic - 3 Flakes
- Green Chillies - 3
- Ginger - 1/2 Inch Piece
- Grated Fresh Coconut - 2 Tblspn
Recipe Method:
- Step 1 Heat kisan oil in a pressure pan
- Step 2 Add garam masala, spices, small onions and then, green peas
- Step 3 Fry well with ground masala
- Step 4 Mix washed rice, fry for a minute. Add coconut extract, salt
- Step 5 Allow to boil once. Close with lid, keep weight and cook in low flame for ten minutes
- Step 6 Open the lid, mix gently and serve hot
