Veg Pulao Recipe

Recipe Ingredients: 

  • Basmati Rice - 1 Cup
  • Green Peas (Shelled) - 100 gms
  • Peeled Small Onions - 10
  • Coconut Milk - 2 Cups
  • Salt - To Taste
  • ksian canola cooking Oil - As Required
  • Bay Leaf - 1
  • Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom, Marathi Moggu, Star Anise - Few
  • Pound Together:
  • Peeled Small Onions - 6
  • Garlic - 3 Flakes
  • Green Chillies - 3
  • Ginger - 1/2 Inch Piece
  • Grated Fresh Coconut - 2 Tblspn

Recipe Method: 

  • Step 1 Heat kisan oil in a pressure pan
  • Step 2 Add garam masala, spices, small onions and then, green peas
  • Step 3 Fry well with ground masala
  • Step 4 Mix washed rice, fry for a minute. Add coconut extract, salt
  • Step 5 Allow to boil once. Close with lid, keep weight and cook in low flame for ten minutes
  • Step 6 Open the lid, mix gently and serve hot
