Roast Beef with Brown Sauce

Recipe Ingredients:

  • Undercut beef 1 kg
  • Kisan Canola Cooking Oil 1/4 cup
  • Mustard powder 1 tsp.
  • Salt 1 1/2 tsp.
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp.
  • Black pepper crushed 1 tsp.
  • Lemon juice 3 tbsp.
  • Wooster sauce 3 tbsp.
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp.

For brown sauce

  • Onion finely chopped 2 tbsp.
  • Stock 2 cups
  • Kisan Canola Cooking Oil 4 tbsp.
  • Flour 3 tbsp.
  • Salt 1/2 tsp.
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp.
  • Burnt sugar syrup 2 tbsp.

Recipe Method: 

Method for roast beef
  • Prick undercut piece with fork well.
  • Marinate with salt, pepper, mustard, ginger garlic paste, Wooster sauce and lemon juice,
  • Heat oil in the pan put marinated undercut, fry for 10 minutes, add 2 cups water, cover and cook for 30 minutes until beef tender and water dries.
  • Remove, cut in slices, and serve hot with boiled vegetables and brown sauce.
  • Serve with rice or noodles.
Method for brown sauce
  • Heat the oil, fry onions till golden brown.
  • Add flour with salt and pepper.
  • Add stock and cook till the sauce thickens.
  • Lastly, add burnt sugar syrup to give brown color.
