Recipe Ingredients:
- Mutton chops 1 kg
- Tomato 250 gm chopped
- Onion 1 large chopped
- Ginger garlic 2 tbsp.
- Onion seeds 1/2 tsp. heaped
- Cumin roasted and crushed 1 1/2 tsp.
- Coriander seeds roasted and crushed 1 tsp.
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp.
- Green chillies 6 whole
- Anise seeds roasted and coarsely ground 1 1/2 tsp.
- Kasoori meethi 1 tsp.
- Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp.
- Kisan Sunflower Cooking Oil 1/2 cup
- Salt 1 1/2 tsp.
- Chilli powder 2 tsp.
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp.
Recipe Method:
- Coarsely crushed together anise seeds, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, onion seeds and fenugreek seeds.
- Heat oil in the pan.
- Add chopped onion fry for 5 minutes.
- Add ginger garlic paste, chopped tomatoes with salt, chilli powder and turmeric, fry well.
- Add in par boiled chops with half cup water, put the lid on and let it simmer.
- Add in all the coarsely crushed seeds with lemon juice and green chillies, leave it on dum (indirect slow cooking technique), till oil comes on top.
- Serve hot with naan.
