Recipe Ingredients:
- Kisan Canola Cooking Oil 3 tbsp.
- Basil leaves fresh 15- 20
- Undercut beef 275 gm.
- Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp.
- Dark brown sugar 1 tsp.
- Fresh red chillies sliced into rings 2
- Garlic cloves chopped 3
- Ginger paste 1 tsp.
- Small onion finely sliced 1
- Finely chopped basil leaves for garnish 2 tbsp.
- Lemon juice few
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black pepper to taste
Recipe Method:
- Heat oil in the wok.
- Add basil leaves and fry for about 1 minute until crisp and golden. Drain on a kitchen towel.
- Cut the undercut into thin strips.
- Add strips to the Mixture of Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar in a bowl. Marinate for 30 minutes.
- Reheat the oil in the pan until hot, add the chilli, garlic, ginger and onion and stir-fry for a minute.
- Add the beef and chopped basil, then stir-fry for about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
- Toss well. Transfer into the serving platter and sprinkle the crisp basil leaves on top.
- Serve with rice.
