Recipe Ingredients:
- Boneless chicken cubes 3/4 cup
- Ground almonds 1 cup
- Butter 6 tbsp.
- Medium onion finely chopped 1
- Ginger paste 1/2 tsp.
- Salt to taste
- Kisan Canola Cooking Oil as required
- Black pepper as required
- Fresh green chilli
- Medium carrot 1
- Frozen peas 1/2 cup
- Water 2 cups
- Cream 1/2 cup
- Milk 1 cup
- freshly chopped coriander 1 tbsp
Recipe Method:
- Melt butter in a cooking pot along with a dash of oil.
- Lightly fry onions and ginger until softened.
- Lower the heat and add the ground almonds, salt, peppercorns, chilli, carrot, peas and chicken. Fry for about 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.
- Make sure you keep stirring then add the chopped coriander.
- Remove from the heat and leave to cool slightly.
- Blend the mixture in a food processor until almost smooth adding water as required.
- Pour back into the pan and add the water along with the milk and bring to a boil.
- Lower the heat and then gradually add the cream and cook gently for another 2 minutes.
- Garnished with some fresh coriander and serve with crusty bread.
