Recipe Ingredients: 

  • Mutton paya - 400 gms
  • Onion - 1 small chopped
  • Coconut powder -1 tblspn
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1tblspn
  • Water - 4 cups
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tblspn
  • Black pepper powder - 1tspn
  • Chilli powder - 2 -3 tblspn
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tspn
  • Salt - according to taste
  • kisan canola cooking Oil -2 tblspn
  • Coriander powder - 1 tspn
  • Coriander leaves - for garnish

Recipe Method: 

  • First wash the mutton pieces cleanly and put it a side.Now for masala paste take the onions,coconut powder and garam masala and make into a fine paste.Next take the pressure cooker and add mutton paya,chilli powder,salt and 1 tspn oil then mix it.Add 2 cups of water and put the lid on.Now cook the mutton on medium high until the cooker blows 5 whistles.Turn off the stove and wait until the pressure goes away.Next heat the oil in a big sauce pot and add ginger garlic paste and fry it.Add masala paste and add turmeric powder then fry it again.Now add cooked paya with water in it.Add another 2 cups of water ,salt and black pepper powder and cook it for about 20 minutes.Finally add coriander powder and switch off the flame.Garnish with coriander leaves.Serve with rice or any kind of bread.Enjoy!!
